New Mexico has a large number of farmers markets. Ranging from small local markets that open and close according to the season, to large year round markets normally located in more populous cities. Local growers bring in their best produce and you will find a wide variety of local favorites including vegetables and fruits but also meat and dairy products. Because markets tend to follow the seasons it is best to check in advance prior to going in search of a local market for hours and location.
