Abiquiú
Abiquiú (pronounced /ˈæbɨkjuː/), is a small unincorporated town located in Rio Arriba County, in northern New Mexico in the southwestern United States, about 53 miles (85 km) north of Santa Fe. In the 1730s, it was the third largest settlement in the New Mexico Territory. Artist Georgia O'Keeffe lived there from 1949 until her death in 1986 at 98 years of age. Today, the area is best known for the annual Abiquiú Studio Tour, which takes place each Columbus Day weekend.
