Red River Ski Area

It’s fun just to hang out in the former mining town of Red River, but you’ll find the alpine skiing and snowboarding on these 290 acres unforgettable. This family mountain has a vertical drop of 1,600 feet, and an average annual snowfall of 252 inches. Nordic skiing in the nearby Enchanted Forest covers 35 kilometers of groomed trails over 600 forested areas that are regularly patrolled. Warming huts are stocked with snacks and hot drinks.
